Today, Will signed up for Spring T-ball and is really excited about trying out for the first time. The only thing now is that try outs are on Valentine's Day, the same day we planned to go to his cousin's BD party. Now what do we do?
Tonight, I told Will I would only read so many pages of his bedtime story since he was late getting in bed and we have church in the morn. So, I got to the stopping point and somehow got off on page numbers. I than got frustrated because he was confusing 14 and 40. And he said.. "Mom, I know about baseball. That's all I have to know!" That helped me get unfrustrated because I was laughing inside!
Another funny..
I've been trying to get Eli to say his name. He's done it a couple times, but most every time you ask him to say it, he answers "baby". Guess that's my fault because I tell him all the time he's my baby. He really thinks that's his name.? I love it!
Today was very nice.. got up late, took our time with breakfast, Charlie got some old pics out to look at(just for fun) and then I took off (by myself) on a mission for firetruck party gear. I can always get so much more done without kiddos!
The weekend also started out great because Ch and I did something we rarely do. We got a babysitter last night and went out for a very nice, peaceful dinner together. We really should do this more often!
