Rain..Rain

After planting our garden last Monday, the rain all weekend has been wonderful! We're just hoping this year's crop will turn out much better than last. We reduced the number of plants this year but I keep thinking about more that I would like to squeeze in. I've also been buying a few flowers here and there even though I said I wasn't going to buy so many this year. Last year I spent way too much on annuals, so I'm trying to get smarter about planting perrenials. I love this time of year, finally getting some fresh air, playing in the dirt.. great mental therapy! HA!! I also wintered a lot of my pots in the garage and they did pretty well. Now if I can keep them alive through the hot summer.. then winter them all over again!?
