There are just a few things I wanted to go back and highlight on. Will came up with the idea that he wanted to play soccer this Spring. SOCCER?? Charlie and I knew very little about soccer and we already planned on continuing him in T-ball("honk ball") because he has loved playing the last 2 seasons. Anyway, we decided to try both, eventhough it might be a challenge, especially since some of the games would overlap. Anyway, it turned out to be a GREAT experience. FAST PACE is right up Will's alley!! Only one game overlapped and the practices were back to back. Not only did Will love it, Charlie and I got to learn the game too. The first few games, he did good for never playing before but did accidently kick a goal for the other team one game...uh oh! But, by the last 3 games, he was scoring goals for his team. The last game, the 26th, he was the only one on his team to score. Way to go Will!! We still have a couple more T-ball games and then we'll be done with sports for a while. He talks about playing football but I'm hoping to stick to soccer and baseball for a long time!! maybe tennis, golf??

Another MILESTONE happened on April 14th! Will met a new little boy that just moved to the neighborhood that has been coming over on his bike. Sweet boy, but he's 2 years older than Will(that's a lot of difference at this age!) and of course doesn't have training wheels on his bike. So guess what Will wants to do!.. Yep, "Daddy, I want to take the training wheels off my bike". Charlie takes them off that day and Will was so determined to ride without them! It only took him a couple hours before he was riding like a CHAMP!! We couldn't believe it! He's had his bicycle for almost 2 years and he was outgrowing it fast, especially now that he didn't need the training wheels anymore. So, on the 29th, Daddy came home with a brand new BIG BOY bicycle. Now, I guess we'll have to put the training wheels back on the other bike for Eli. Won't be long until he'll be riding too!!

I also wanted to REWIND and share a FUNNY(well, now it is) about my sweet Eli. One morning(April 9th) after I had fed the boys breakfast, I sat down to eat my bowl of cereal in peace while reading the news when.... all of a sudden, I hear a loud noise in the dining room, followed by "MOM...Come look what Eli did". Yes, my 14 month old found a golf ball under his daddy's side of the bed without me knowing. We usually keep our bedroom shut... OH, BUT NOT THIS MORNING! You also have to know that he is a ball lover and throws everything that looks like one. Yes.. He THREW the golf ball with all his strength straight into my dining window and cracked it good. This was not funny for several days, especially after finding out how much it was going to cost to replace this double pane window. NOW, IT IS FUNNY and I can write about it. Who knows... Maybe he'll be a Pro Pitcher one day.
